At Royal Britannia, we understand that raising and supporting a child with additional needs can sometimes feel overwhelming. To empower parents, we offer Parent Workshops and Family Support Sessions throughout the academic year.
These workshops, led by our Therapists and Educational Team, provide guidance on practical topics such as:
Understanding your child’s learning and communication needs
Positive behaviour management strategies
Sensory regulation and home routines
Potty training and self-care skills
Building independence and confidence
Workshops are designed to be interactive and collaborative, allowing parents to learn alongside their children and gain hands-on strategies they can apply at home. These events also provide opportunities for mentoring and open discussion, helping families feel more supported and connected to the RB community.
Our goal is to ensure that every parent feels confident, informed, and equipped to reinforce their child’s learning and development beyond the classroom.
